To ensure the normal operation of the reduction motor, it is necessary to keep the reduction motor clean, regularly clean the dust and foreign matters on the surface of the reduction motor, regularly check the application status of the lubricating oil, regularly clean the ventilation cap, and select the lubricating oil of the reduction motor. The lubricating oil can reduce the mutual wear between the gears of the reduction motor, prevent the body from overheating, and extend the service life of the reduction motor.

The reducer motor needs to be replaced with new oil after 300 hours of operation for the first time. After that, it needs to be replaced every 2500 hours of operation. Attention should be paid to check the quality and quantity of oil regularly in the process of operation. If there are impurities, aging and degeneration in the oil, it must be replaced at any time. The gear oil should be of fixed brand and model, and different brands, numbers or types of oil should not be mixed.

In the process of oil change, the interior of the reducer motor should be removed first, and then new oil should be injected. During the operation, when the oil temperature is too high (over 8oC) or abnormal noise is found, the operation shall be stopped immediately. The oil leakage, oil temperature and oil level height shall be checked regularly. When the oil leakage, oil temperature is too high or oil level height is too low, the operation shall be stopped and the cause of maintenance or replacement of new oil shall be checked.

The daily protection of the reduction motor, the reduction motor should be regular maintenance, found abnormal or obvious wear, must immediately take effective measures. After the replacement of new parts, the no-load work should be carried out first, and the normal operation should be determined before the formal use. The application unit should establish a reasonable protection system, and make careful records of the use of the reducer motor and the problems found in the maintenance.
